Summit has unveiled a first look at next week’s Ender’s Game teaser trailer.

In this Ender’s Game first look, we see Colon Hyrum Graff tell Ender that he’ll be “the finest commander we’ve ever trained.” Ender notes that he is not the first person to become a commander, and Maze Rackham adds that he will be the last. Scattered in between the dialogue are a few shots of Ender doing his training.

The teaser teaser trailer includes an introduction from stars Asa Butterfield (Ender) and Harrison Ford (Colon Hyrum Graff).

These are the very first video clips we’re seeing from the movie. So far the CGI and roles look promising. Earlier this week we saw Maze Rackham played by Ben Kingsley for the first time.

The Ender’s Game teaser trailer premieres in full on Tuesday, May 7 at 4 p.m. eastern, 1 p.m. pacific. After the trailer, there will be a Live Google+ Hangout with director Gavin Hood, producer Bob Orci and star Asa Butterfield. They will talk about making the movie with fans. You can join the Google+ event now to receive a reminder next week.

Ender’s Game hits theaters November 1, 2013. It stars Abigail Breslin (as Valentin Wiggin), Harrison Ford (Colonel Hyrum Graff), Hailee Steinfeld (Petra Arkanian), and Asa Butterfield (Ender Wiggin). The film is based on the book of the same title by Orson Scott Card and is directed by Gavin Hood. Hood also wrote the film’s screenplay.
