Adele isn’t the only artist releasing an album on November 20. The Empire: Original Soundtrack, Season 2, Vol. 1 will be debuting as well.
November 20 holds a few exciting things for us music fans. Just in time for the holiday shopping season, too!
Last season’s soundtrack debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart back in March. Columbia Records is the label for both the Empire soundtrack and Adele. We expect Columbia Records to have a great sales day, especially since Adele’s album 25 has been highly anticipated.
Empire: Original Soundtrack, Season 2, Vol. 1 will feature cast members Jussie Smollett (Jamal Lyon), Yazz (Hakeem Lyon) , and Terrence Howard (Lucious Lyon). Guest artists included to appear are Timbaland and Pitbull. The one and only Alicia Keys will be featured on the Deluxe Edition which contains eight additional songs. Keys will sing “Powerful” featuring Jussie Smollett.
