The baton has been passed, y’all. Original Hermione Granger actress Emma Watson attended Thursday night’s performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and met the new Hermione.
The Cursed Child celebrated exactly one month of being in previews by hosting a special guest: Emma Watson. As far as we know, it’s the first time one of the original leads from the Harry Potter film series has seen “the eighth story.”
After Watson’s visit she tweeted this wonderful photo of herself meeting (and getting squeezed by) Noma Dumezweni, the new Hermione:
