Continuing to promote her latest film The Perks of Being a Wallflower internationally, Emma Watson (who plays Sam in the Stephen Chbosky film) reveals which Harry Potter cast member she had a crush on.

Tom Felton! “Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a crush on Tom. I used to go into work in the morning and look at the call sheet to see if he was going to be in every day,” she said to Jonathan Ross on his talk show recently. “He was a bad guy, a few years older than me, and had a skateboard and that did it for me.” Why didn’t sparks fly? Felton insisted to other cast members that he saw Watson in a sisterly way.

In a separate interview we learned that Watson’s Rocky Horror scene in Perks inspired her to gain interest in a musical project. “I love musical theatre, so, I would love to do a musical soon, that would be wonderful,” she said. Perks gave her “a taste for cabaret and singing and dancing. I was terrified of the Rocky Horror scenes, but, as it turned out, it was fun, and once I got over how weird it was to go from wearing knitted jumpers to corsets and fishnets, I got it together.”

The Perks of Being a Wallflower opens everywhere in the United States this Friday. Over the past couple of weeks it had been making a slow roll out which began in New York and Los Angeles.
