In a four-part video interview with BBC Radio 1, Eminem discusses the majority of his tracks from his newest The Marshall Mathers LP 2 album.

All four parts are available below, followed by a live performance of one of his new songs, “Berzerk,” and his classic “Stan.”

The rapper is known for being a bit reclusive, particularly in recent years. Fame and fortune have taken their toll, but now that Eminem is five years sober and has a better handle on his life, it’s great to see him in the headlines more often.

The interview, which touched on most of the standout records on The Marshall Mathers LP 2, also focused on Eminem’s relationship with his mother, his love of Detroit, and if he plans on touring again. While the answer to that last question is promising (that he’s always up for performing), Slim Shady also spoke about the uncertainty of his future projects.

Music will always be a part of him, he says, even if he stops recording. And while he didn’t let any details slip about his future projects, he also said that he’d like to continue producing even well after he lays the mic down for good.

But that’s surely a long way off, and for now we have a couple of new things to look forward to. The official music video for “Rap God” will be released on Wednesday, November 27. You can check out a short teaser below.

We also know that we’ll be getting a video for “The Monster,” Eminem’s fourth single, which features Rihanna.

Once you’ve soaked up everything Em says in the interview above and you’re still not satisfied with waiting until the “Rap God” video debuts, be sure to watch the videos for “Berzerk” and “Survival.” You can also head over to our post about the MMLP2 debut to let us know what you think of the album.
