It’s been three years since Eminem has brought us those crushingly raw, at times brutal, in-your-face lyrics that has made him such a staple in the world of rap music. Now, the prominent rapper is set to release brand new material and a full-length album some time after Memorial Day.

The untitled album, still in the recording process, will be Eminem’s eighth studio album.

Although an exact date has yet to be determined, Shady Records president, Paul Rosenberg, says that Eminem and the label plan to put out a record for sure this year.

“It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point,” Rosenberg told Billboard.”But we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”

Eminem’s last album,Recovery, was released in June 2010 and topped the Billboard charts with the hit singles, “Not Afraid” and “Love the Way You Lie,” the latter of which featured Rihanna.

Much is still up in the air for Eminem’s latest project and only a handful of dates have been released for the rapper’s European concert tour, which is scheduled to begin August 17 in Dublin, Ireland.

However, as history has shown, we doubt he’ll let us down with his new material.

Eminem’s European tour dates:

August 17: Slane Castle–Dublin, Ireland
August 20: Glasgow Summer Session–Bellahouston Park, Great Britain
August 22: Stade de France–Paris France
August 24: Reading Festival–Reading, Great Britain
August 25: Leeds Festival–Leeds, Great Britain

Since fall is still months away, let’s revisit some of our favorite Eminem singles:

“Without Me” (The Eminem Show, 2002)

“Stan” featuring Dido (Marshall Mathers LP, 1999)

“Forgot about Dre” (2001)
