Eminem has released another single from his upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. This one is entitled “Rap God,” and you can listen to it right now!

The video below has the full six-minute audio-only version of the song.

The song is a breathless siege of lyricism at its finest. Eminem barely pauses during the song, and even the hook is an onslaught of tongue-twisting lines meant to show off his skill, absolutely lending himself to the title of “rap god.”

While it will definitely take a while for fans to transcribe what they’re hearing from the video without a little help from the rapper himself, some of his lines are loud and clear.

“Enough rhymes to maybe try to help get some people through tough times / But I gotta keep a few punchlines / Just in case, ’cause even you unsigned / Rappers are hungry looking at me like it’s lunchtime,” he raps, referencing the hoards of rappers that try to challenge him, thinking he’s losing his status as one of the best rappers alive.

If this song hasn’t proven that Eminem is still in touch with the “old” Slim Shady, as some fans have previously feared, then we don’t think anything will.

The song is also full of references to superheroes like Superman and Thor, along with shows like The Walking Dead. Beyond that, we’ll have to wait until the official lyrics are released, or fans work through the overwhelming amount of words he gets through in the six-minute song.

Previous songs from MMLP2 include “Berzerk” and “Survivor,” both of which have official music videos.

Eminem has also released the official cover art for The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which shows an older version of his house from the original Marshall Mathers LP, as well as the official tracklist of the album.
