Sunday night’s Emmys always bring a lot of fashion buzz, and this year was no exception. Revenge star Emily VanCamp wowed at the Emmys, and E!’s Fashion Police even named her as one of the best dressed for 2012.

Rife with talent, beauty, and the latest fashion trends, the Emmys are a place to showcase the best that television has to offer – on and off the screen. You can guarantee to see some dazzling gowns and dapper tuxes, but you can also be sure that there will be those who fall short of elegance.

Emily VanCamp, however, was not one of those.

She stunned viewers in a gorgeous gray chiffon gown by J. Mendel, looking slightly whimsical but overall, lovely. E!’s Fashion Police even name her Van Cleef bow-tie bracelet “no doubt, the best accessory of the night!” And they couldn’t be more right. VanCamp looked incredible.

Revenge’s new neighbor on Sunday nights is Once Upon a Time, and its leading lady Ginnifer Goodwin also managed to snag a spot on E!’s Best Dressed with her striking orange and beige Monique Lhuillier dress. She even followed her fantasy show’s theme and completed her outfit with glass slippers by Christian Louboutin.

Other top picks for the Fashion Police included Nicole Kidman’s white and blue sequined number by Antonio Beradi and Sophia Vergara’s shiny green mermaid frock, courtesy of Zuhair Murad.

While we love VanCamp and the other ladies on E!’s list, our favorite look of the night happens to be Christina Hendricks from AMC’s Mad Men. Her strapless gold Christian Siriano gown looked amazing with her bright hair and full red lip, even if some think it’s too similar to her 2010 Golden Globes flop. She wins our pick, though we don’t claim to be fashion experts.

Even though Revenge wasn’t actually nominated for anything, VanCamp presented Outstanding Director for a Miniseries or Movie and Oustanding Actor for a Miniseries or Movie with Goodwin. When the original Emmy nominations were announced, many were outraged that Revenge hadn’t picked up any, especially for the complex performance of Madeleine Stowe’s Victoria Grayson.

Do you think Revenge was snubbed? What do you think of Emily VanCamp’s place on the Best Dressed List?
