Ellen DeGeneres’ faux Jurassic World trailer stars Barney the dinosaur. Need we say more?

One of the best running gags on The Ellen Show is the fake movie trailer segment, usually featuring Ellen DeGeneres herself, seamlessly inserted into scenes and adding an extra (and sometimes unexpected) layer of humor to the tense moments.

This week, she tackles Jurassic World, but this time, the fake trailer doesn’t feature herself — instead, prepare to meet something much more terrifying:

Now that would be a good monster. We’re not sure we’ll ever be able to watch Barney and Friends again!

In related news, Ellen had Jurassic World star Chris Pratt on the show last week, and he participated in a hilarious quiz segment where his knowledge was tested against that of a highly dino-savvy eight-year-old.

The official description of the movie reads: “Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.”

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow, and hits cinemas on June 12, 2015. The actual dinosaur menace is almost as frightening as Barney would be — catch a glimpse of the hybrid in this new trailer!
