Get ready for another DC entity to hit your television screens! The CW is currently developing a series based on DC Comics’ Traci Thirteen and her father Dr. Terrance Thirteen.

According to Variety, the upcoming series is currently titled Project 13 and is set to be a one hour drama which will center around a forensic scientist in her 20s named Traci who has always believed in the supernatural. When Traci teams up with her father to investigate a slew of cases that can’t be explained, she discovers that she herself possesses some pretty amazing abilities.

In the comics, Traci is categorized as a member of the Homo Magi race. She has what is called “urban magic,” which allows her to tap into the magic of cities to do things like cast spells, teleport, create force shields, and more.

The series, which is currently in development, is set to be executive produced by actress and seasoned producer Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect).

Banks will team up with Max Handleman and Daegan Fryklind, who will both be producing the project alongside her. Fryklind will also be tasked with penning the series.

It should be noted that while Project 13 is currently in development at The CW, it hasn’t been green lit by the network, meaning there’s no telling if it’ll ever make it to air.

Even so, we wouldn’t be surprised if the series ends up making it onto The CW’s slate somewhere down the line. The network is known for producing a number of DC entities, including The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

A series such as Project 13 would definitely lend itself to a network that’s already heavy on the comic adaptations. Additionally, we could see it pairing well alongside other paranormal series such as Supernatural and the upcoming Riverdale spinoff, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

We’ll be interested to find out if The CW moves forward with yet another DC entity or if it decides to pass on Project 13 later on down the line.
