Ed Sheeran has never been shy to admit his love for Lego, and now a clever stop-motion animator has transformed Ed Sheeran’s “Lego House” video into a full Lego version. There’s even a Lego version of Rupert Grint, who starred in the official video that released back in 2011.

The video is matched by a Lego version shot by shot with the expressions of the Lego character matching Rupert Grint’s own expressions surprisingly closely.

This impressive stop-motion video was created and filmed by Dylan Woodley of Insomniac Animations. He has also created Lego videos for Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” and “Houdini” by Foster the People.

The original “Lego House” official video has reached over 46 million plays on YouTube.

“Lego House” was released as the third single off Sheeran’s debut album +, following “The A Team” and “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.”

Ed Sheeran has since written songs for One Direction and featured on Taylor Swift’s latest album. The British singer-songwriter also managed to nab a performance slot at this year’s Grammy awards, where he played “The A Team” with Elton John.

Sheeran will continue to tour North America this year, opening for Taylor Swift, and plans to write a new album whilst on tour, ready for release in early 2014.
