When Microsoft announced the Xbox One a few weeks ago, the world exploded into conversation.

One of the hottest contended items was the fact that a fee is required to play pre-owned games. If this trend is followed everywhere else in the gaming industry, it has the potential to run used game companies like Gamestop out of business, seeing as a large portion of their earnings come from the buying and selling of used games.

During their Xbox One reveal press conference, Microsoft also released information on a new Halo TV show. The show will be a live-action program available as a premium TV series on Xbox Live.

Although nothing has been confirmed, a rumored price and release date for the Xbox One was potentially leaked a little after the Xbox One reveal press conference. For a while, the UK based online retailer Zavvi.com stated that the Xbox one would cost £399 and would release on November 30. It is hoped that the details of worldwide release dates and prices will be unveiled during Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference.

The actual Xbox One reveal had little to do with the actual games that players can expect to play on the next Microsoft console. That’s why E3 2013 is an important time for Microsoft to prove to their loyal fans that buying the Xbox One will be well worth the potentially high price.
