Months after his serious accident on the set of The Maze Runner finale which caused the production to shut down, Dylan O’Brien is up and at ’em!

The actor, who plays Thomas in the book-to-film adaptation of The Maze Runner series, went into a Jamba Juice over the weekend for a refreshing, sugar-filled treat. What he didn’t know was that a huge fan would take his order.

That person, named Vanessa, posted a picture of them meeting to Twitter. Dylan is sporting a thick beard, which may or may not be an attempt at keeping himself under cover while walking around in public.

“He was so sweet! He was laughing,” Vanessa said on Twitter after posting the photo.

O’Brien’s injury on the set of The Death Cure left him hospitalized for weeks with a “concussion, facial fracture, and lacerations.” Production on the film was halted and the studio gave the movie a new release date: January 12, 2018. It was originally slated for February 2017.

It’s great to see that Dylan O’Brien up and at ’em!

The actor will soon begin shooting a new drama before The Maze Runner: The Death Cure resumes production. He’ll also appear in the final season of Teen Wolf (which he shot before the accident).
