In last week’s episode of Dracula, Lucy takes Mina out partying to distract her from her heartbreak. Renfield gets Grayson the energy supplies needed for their experiments. Harker tries to make friends with a list of contacts Grayson gives him to work on. Meanwhile Grayson is saddened to find that Lady Jayne tortures vampires in her home, but he doesn’t yet reveal his true identity.

Later he comes to Mina’s rescue as a man bothers her at a party. Then takes out his anger on Jonathan and tells him he’s being foolish about Mina’s goals. Van Helsing secures Grayson’s safety by killing the seers and The Order of the Dragon worries is will cause more vampires to come to London.

The synopsis for ‘Dracula’ season 1, episode 4 ‘From Darkness to Light’ is:

“Grayson ruthlessly sets out to compromise Lady Jayne, by winning her heart. Lucy’s enthusiastic plans for Mina and Harker’s engagement party conceals a broken heart. Grayson’s unexpected reunion with a very old friend proves a growing complication to his and Van Helsing’s mission of vengeance. Van Helsing achieves a breakthrough in his efforts to enable Grayson to conquer sunlight, only to suffer an unanticipated setback.”
