A series based on the popular Dr. Death podcast has found its stars.

Jamie Dornan, best known for portraying Christian Grey in the 50 Shades series, will be taking on the role of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, Variety is reporting. Duntsch is a Texas surgeon who left many of his patients injured, maimed, or dead from undergoing routine spinal surgeries. He has since been convicted of gross malpractice.

The Dr. Death podcast explores the story of the controversial medical professional. The upcoming series, which is currently being shopped around to networks and streaming services by Universal Content Productions, will attempt to do the same.

Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin will also star in the Dr. Death series alongside Dornan. Slater will be playing Randall Kirby, a vascular surgeon who is described as “brash, impulsive and more than willing to burn that system to the ground in the name of justice.” Baldwin will step into the shoes of neurosurgeon Robert Henderson. His character is described as “quiet, deliberative and methodical.”

Dr. Death will be executive produced by Patrick McManus, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch. They will also be joined by producers from Wondery, the podcast network home of Dr. Death, Hernan Lopez and Marshall Lewy.
