PBS is rolling out a Downton Abbey tea truck in New York City to promote the launch of the show’s fourth season airing in January.

A spin on the popular food truck concept, the Downton Abbey tea truck will be the perfect solution to coping with the cold weather in Manhattan.

According to New York Public Media, the truck will come “complete with costumed servers” and will be “giving out free tea and biscuits to fans and an opportunity to take photos against the backdrop of Highclere Castle.”

The Downton Abbey tea truck will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will move to different locations each day. The tea truck locations are as follows:

Monday, December 9
East 14th St. at University Place (Southwest corner)

Tuesday, December 10
6th Avenue between 40th & 41st St.

Wednesday, December 11
50th St. between 6th & 7th Ave. (Northside)

Thursday, December 12
The New York Times Center, 41st St. between 7th & 8th Ave.

Friday, December 13
Broadway between 66th and 67th St. (Westside)

Downton Abbey kicks off its nine-episode season on PBS beginning January 5.

Season 4 of the beloved period drama already aired in the United Kingdom on ITV, though a two-hour Christmas Special is slated to air on December 25. Learn more in our previous report from earlier this week.

We’ll be in Manhattan during the week of the tea truck’s journey through the city, so you can bet we’ll be on the lookout.
