If a particular castle looks familiar to you when watching Downton Abbey season 5 later this year, it’s probably because you first saw it in the Harry Potter movies.

The new Downton Abbey series is currently filming at Alnwick Castle, according to the iconic venue’s official website.

While the site doesn’t explicitly say that crews are filming Downton Abbey, they describe the mystery show filming there as a “major ITV period drama.”

Harry Potter fans will remember Alnwick Castle as the site of Harry’s broom-flying lessons with Madame Hooch in Sorcerer’s Stone. The castle was also used for the sequel Chamber of Secrets. To this day, the castle still hosts Harry Potter-related activities.

Alnwick Castle is normally open to the public for tours, but during Downton Abbey filming all of the State Rooms will be closed.

Downton Abbey season 5 will premiere January 5 in the United States on PBS. An air date hasn’t been set for the United Kingdom, but it will likely be in September.
