Along with its promo for next week’s episode of Downton Abbey, PBS has released a new clip, which hints at changes ahead.

It seems that we haven’t seen the last of Ethel (and neither here nor there, but we’re just a little bit enamored with the way Carson sputters “Prostitute!”), Anna is edging closer to the mystery of Vera Bates’s death (edge a little faster, dear), while the hands of time bring new footman Jimmy closer to the hands of Thomas than he is entirely comfortable with.

But those sly preview editors held out on us – this new clip reveals what will almost certainly be the centerpiece plotline of the episode – Sybil goes into labor!

Take it slowly, Thomas – looks like you’re winding up more than just that clock.

PBS’ official summary for episode four says:

The Crawley family faces its severest test yet. Meanwhile, new faces try to fit into the tight-knit circle of servants. And new evidence turns up in a baffling case.

Downton Abbey airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. on PBS.
