We appear to be in the final week of photography on Downton Abbey season 6, if new photos from the set of the Edwardian series are any indication.

Over the past week many cast members have been tweeting and Instagraming photos from the Downton Abbey set and sharing farewell messages. They’ve even used the hashtag “#LastDaysofDownton,” meaning the end is nigh.

Major cast members, including Elizabeth McGovern (Cora Crawley), Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary), and Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates), have been sharing emotional photos as filming on Downton Abbey season 6 comes to an end.

Through the photos released by the actresses we’ve also seen actors like Hugh Bonneville (Robert Crawley) and Allen Leech (Tom Branson).

Like leaving a job you’ve been at for a while, the cast of the beloved series are all going through a sad month as they say farewell to cast and crew members who’ve become their friends over the last six years. It’s surely a difficult time for all of them!

Check out the cast’s photos below, including some bittersweet moments like Elizabeth McGovern’s very last moment on set:

And while this last photo is not from the set, we had to include it here: Michelle Dockery and Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley!) reunited on Wednesday night at a Downton tribute event. Our hearts!

Reunited. @thatdanstevens I've missed this face #bafta #LastDaysOfDownton #matthewandmary

Downton Abbey season 6 premieres January 3 on PBS, and sooner in the U.K.

ITV hasn’t set a launch date for Downton’s U.K. premiere, but we expect it to be sometime in September.
