A new sneak-peek clip has been released from next week’s penultimate episode of season 3 of Downton Abbey, giving fans a glimpse at a new character and familiar tension. Minor spoilers ahead.

Believe it or not, season 3 of Downton Abbey is nearing its conclusion. This Sunday night marks the second-to-last episode of the season, and promises to feature at least one new – and potentially controversial – face. Check out a sneak peek from episode six right here:

It looks like Violet and Isobel are at loggerheads again; while always amusing, it’s a bit of a shame the sniping fun comes at poor Ethel’s expense.
