Those excited for Downton Abbey 2 will have to wait just a bit longer than originally expected before they can head out to theaters to see the movie sequel.

According to Deadline, Focus Features has pushed the release of the sequel back by a few months.

When Focus Features originally announced that Downton Abbey 2 was officially in production, the studio revealed that the movie would be hitting theaters on December 22, 2021. It’ll now hit theaters on Friday, March 18, 2022 instead.
