Double Fine’s Kickstarter project to make a classic adventure game ends today.

On its last day, the project crossed the $3 million dollar mark with nearly 80,000 backers.

The company also announced it will be broadcasting a live stream on Ustream for the final two hours of the project starting at 6PM PDT/8PM EST so you can watch Tim Schafer make even more money in real time.

Double Fine’s original goal for the page was $400,000 which they managed to pass in under 24 hours. The four $10,000 donations that entitle the buyer to lunch with Tim Schafer and a tour of the developer have also sold out.

If you’d like to make a last minute donation, you can find the Kickstarter page here.

Now that the Double Fine Adventure project is almost over, here’s another Kickstarter you can throw your money at: Wasteland 2, a sequel to the game that inspired the Fallout series and a serious RPG.
