Double Dare, the best game show ever in the minds of many ’90s children, is coming back for one night only on Friday, July 22! And yes, original host Marc Summers is returning to host.

Nick will put on a live edition of Double Dare at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, the network announced today. The episode will be streamed live on Facebook beginning at 9:30 p.m. pacific.

As for what segments will appear during the live Double Dare? Nick confirms that we’ll get to see classic games like the Wringer, Down the Hatch, the Human Hamster Wheel and the Double Dare Nose in the obstacle course.

Nick will have a big presence at this year’s Comic-Con to promote The Splat, “a multiple-screen destination spanning television, eight social media platforms and a dedicated web site aggregating the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond.” The Splat made headlines last October when they announced they’d begin airing classic Nick shows on television.

We’ll be sure to share the live version of Double Dare before it begins airing on Friday, July 22. It’ll be fun to see Marc Summers return to host the game show that defined his career!

To invoke the nostalgia of all millennials, Nick is also working on new Hey Arnold and Legends of the Hidden Temple movies.
