For those of you who didn’t leave your TVs on after watching Modern Family last Wednesday, you probably missed out on ABC’s newest sitcom, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.

The series follows June (Dreama Walker), as she moves to New York City to pursue her dream job, until she finds out that it no longer exists and she ends up moving in with a con-artist party-girl named Chloe (Krysten Ritter). The two don’t get along at first; however, when Chloe’s attempts at scamming June backfire, they end up forming an unlikely friendship. Still not interested? Here’s three reasons why you should watch it:

1. Krysten Ritter: For anyone who’s seen Breaking Bad or paid close attention to Gilmore Girls circa 2006-2007, you’ll recognize Chloe, the “bitch in apartment 23,” from these two popular drama series. She’s bubbly, but not in a cliche way; she’s bitchy, but not in a mean way; and if you don’t absolutely love her in this show, you’re freaking crazy.

2. It’s unpredictable: You always know that Chloe is up to something, but you’re never quite sure what. America needs more sitcoms that keep viewers on their toes, they’re becoming way too predictable.

3. JAMES VAN DER BEEK: The best part about this show is Dawson himself, James Van Der Beek, playing James Van Der Beek. In this show, James plays a fictionalized version of himself (think Neil Patrick Harris in the Harold and Kumar series) that could very well lead to his inevitable comeback into the public eye. The Beek pokes fun at himself, Dawson’s Creek, and celebrities in general. Fictional James even gets cast on Dancing With the Stars! Even if you weren’t a Dawson fan, James is in his element with this ridiculous comedic take on his life post-Dawson’s Creek.

Tune in to ABC Wednesday nights at 9:30 p.m. EST to catch this new hilarious show! Seriously, your TV will probably already be on that channel anyway.
