Alec Baldwin rounded out this year’s unforgettable season of SNL as Donald Trump alongside several other notable members of his administration.

Cold Open

Following the Kate McKinnon’s “Hallelujah” after the November elections, Donald Trump took his turn at the piano this week during the season finale of SNL. Joining him were all the notable characters from this season including Scarlett Johannson as Ivanka Trump. There may be some double meaning with this “farewell” performance as impeachment conversations surrounding Donald Trump have begun. Will we be seeing Donald Trump as President when the next season premieres this fall?

Opening Monologue

Dwayne Johnson celebrated his fifth time hosting by being inducted into the official 5-Timers Club. Ushering him into the club are other 5-timers Alec Baldwin and Tom Hanks.

David S. Pumpkins Returns

In a digital sketch, Keenan Thompson played a rapper who kept piling on the rappers in the song. The sketch features almost the entire cast of SNL and a very special appearance by none other than Tom Hanks as David S. Pumpkins!

Mistakes During Filming

In another sketch, Vanessa Bayer played an actress named Janet who just couldn’t seem to get through filming of her new movie because she kept making “mistakes.” Make sure you watch this sketch as Vanessa Bayer and Dwayne Johnson break character a few times as they laugh!

Class of 2017

This week it was announced that Vanessa Bayer and Bobby Moynihan would definitely be leaving SNL after this season. In this sketch, the four class members rehash everything that happened during the year.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry also performed two songs from her upcoming album. Check out “Swish Swish” and “Bon Apetit” below.

‘SNL’ season 43

SNL will take the summer off before it comes back this fall for season 43. As usual, casting announcements usually won’t happen until the few weeks leading up to the season premiere. It has already been announced that both Vanessa Bayer and Bobby Moynihan will not be returning next season. Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett also appeared in the Class of 2017 sketch alongside Moynihan and Bayer, possibly signaling their exit.
