Donald Glover will no longer be bringing his voice to Deadpool in an animated series for Marvel Television.

The star, along with FX and Stephen Glover, have decided to exit their planned series with Marvel Television due to alleged “creative differences,” EW reports.

The project was the brainchild of the Glover brothers, and was first announced in May 2017 when FX revealed their order of 10 episodes. The series was slated to premiere later this year with Donald Glover set to voice the iconic character.

Glover has yet to comment on the decision to exit the project. It is still unclear whether or not the Deadpool animated series will still be produced by Marvel Television, without the involvement of the Glovers and FX.

This is disappointing news, but at least fans of Deadpool still have the upcoming movie to look forward to. Watch the trailer for Deadpool 2, which premieres in May, here.
