For those fans eagerly awaiting the Doctor’s return on November 23 on BBC1, he may have already made it back to Earth.

A Police Telephone Box has popped up on Google Maps right outside of Earl’s Court in London, England. You can go inside by clicking here, then clicking the double arrows which point towards the TARDIS.

The appearance of the famous blue box also allows fans to explore a bit of the interior. A panoramic image, courtesy of Google Maps, allows a tour of the interior, featuring the option to zoom in on the console controls.

Some have already taken a chance to comment on their experience with the Telephone Box, which currently has a review of 4.3 stars out of 5. Already, more than 250 fans have left reviews on the box’s Google+ page.

For the record, those giving a less-than-perfect rating of the box have their own interesting problems: comments range from panic at being lost in the depths of what we know as the T.A.R.D.I.S., while others aren’t quite sure of the identity of the owner, a mysterious man who identifies himself only as “The Doctor.”

The Doctor Who set of the interior of the T.A.R.D.I.S. was also recently opened to fans for a limited edition tour that will be available until August 25 with the Doctor Who Experience. It was also toured by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in early July.

Although some news sources are reporting that this is a way to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, it could hold further significance. Set photos indicate that Trafalgar Square and the Tower of London, two London landmarks, may feature prominently in the 50th Anniversary Special — locations each about 5 miles from this blue box. This Police Box has been installed at Earl Court since 1996 and is the last remaining in London.
