Thanks to the amazing folks at the Doctor Who Experience, you can now walk through the current Doctor’s TARDIS just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary!

Recently visited by their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, the latest TARDIS set from series seven ( which debut in the Christmas special ‘The Snowmen’) is now available to the general public as part of the Doctor Who Experience!

As a brand new and limited addition for the summer of 2013, tours of the Doctor Who BBC studio set will go on until the 25th of August.

There are two ticketing options available for those interested in walking on the current TARDIS set: Adult prices are £22.71 for the Doctor Who Experience general admission ticket + TARDIS studio tour, and £28.14 for the general admission ticket + the Ultimate Tour ticket, which includes an official guided walking tour of Doctor Who filming locations around Cardiff Bay.

Be sure to book now if you want to get into the Doctor’s TARDIS before it goes away later in August!

For those who don’t know, the Doctor Who Experience is a studio tour including a plethora Doctor Who props, sets, and costumes. Much like the Harry Potter studio tour in London, the Doctor Who Experience offers Whovians a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite Doctor, no matter who it is.

This is a rare opportunity to get inside of the TARDIS while they’re still filming with it, so we hope you can take it! And if you get a chance, don’t forget you can submit a News By You article to give it your very own review and have it posted on the site. We’d love to hear what you thought!

Will you be going to the tour?

If you don’t get a chance to get inside the TARDIS, you’ll be able to see it on November 23rd when Doctor Who returns for the 50th anniversary special.
