The Doctor is back in an all new Doctor Who episode where instead of traveling time and space, he’s traveling the halls of Coal Hill School.

The newest episode of Doctor Who, “The Caretaker” will see the Doctor coming back to the school where it all started, Coal Hill, where his granddaughter attended and where Clara is now a teacher at.

The synopsis for the episode reads: “When terrifying events threaten Coal Hill school the Doctor decides to go undercover. The Skovox Blitzer is ready to destroy all humanity – and worse, any second now, Danny Pink and the Doctor are going to meet.”

Steven Moffat spoke to the Radio Times about the episode, and said “Clara has it all under control: her life at school, her life in space; her new boyfriend and her mad old Time Lord. Everything is humming along just fine, so long as everybody never actually meets. And then, one morning, just before assembly, Coal Hill welcomes a new relief caretaker with a Scottish accent. With Clara’s world about to explode around her, terrifying events near the school make it clear that the rest of the world is about to do the same.”

Sounds thrilling! We can’t wait to see what’s going to happen tonight on Doctor Who.

Earlier this month we found out that Clara could possibly be leaving before the Christmas special this year, or at the very least there are relatively reliable reports that she might be leaving at Christmas. So “The Caretaker” will be an interesting episode to see where Clara is in her life and how she feels about the Doctor being a part of it even when she doesn’t want him to.

Is Clara Oswald pulling a Martha Jones and starting to want a normal time travel free life? We’ll have to see!
