Doctor Who just finished airing “Nightmare in Silver” in the U.K. The episode was filled with Cybermen like we have never seen them before. Share your thoughts below! (Spoilers!)

When Neil Gaiman wrote this episode he thought only Matt Smith specifically could pull it off. The Doctor certainly had an usual path this time. We haven’t had an episode in a while where the Doctor was actually the threat.

We were finally able to see the children that Clara cares for thanks to their snooping and the Doctor’s Willy Wonka-like promise of fun, golden tickets and all. Though, given the number of times the TARDIS doesn’t land when and where intended, you’d think that the Doctor and Clara would have been more cautious.

One of the highlights of the episode was Warwick Davis making his Doctor Who debut. Davis has appeared in multiple sci-fi franchises, and he brought his trademark energy and depth to this episode.

Next week marks the final episode before the 50th anniversary special in November. To set us up for it, the BBC aired the prequel “He Said, She Said” immediately following “Nightmare in Silver.” Do you think we have enough clues going into next week?
