Camille Coduri played Jackie Tyler as a regular for series one and two of the Doctor Who reboot. As much as she loved the show, another appearance is doubtful.

Playing mom to Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler, Camille Coduri was a great foil to both Christopher Eccleston’s and David Tennant’s Doctors bringing a certain chav, protective momma-bear quality to the series. According to Digital Spy, Coduri had this to say about a return to the series or a movie.

“I think that’s done now. We’ve been back to say goodbye at least twice. You have to leave it in the past sometime really. And we left five years ago really, so it’s quite a long time. People have moved on. If anyone asked me, of course I would, brilliant. It would be a great story to go back, but I think it’s done and I think we need to leave it where it is, really.”

Other former cast mates have recently stated their opinions. Freema Agyeman, who played Martha Jones, is keen to make a return. John Barrowman, who plays Captain Jack Harkness, has stated that he’d be up for a series return, but wouldn’t be interested in a movie appearance without Tennant.

Do you think former cast members should make a TV reappearance? What about a movie appearance?
