Doctor Who‘s next episode is the by renown sci-fi and fantasy writer Neil Gaiman. It is entitled “Nightmare in Silver.”

The BBC has released two different promos for the episode. The episode guest stars Warwick Davies, who is best known to many for his roles in the Harry Potter films as Professor Flitwick and Griphook the goblin.

In the first promo from BBC America, we see a very commanding Clara barking orders, asserting her authority, and taking charge. We also get a clear look at the two children, Artie and Angie, who Clara takes care of as their nanny. Apparently, they are all at some defunct, space amusement park when things go horribly wrong.

In the second video from the BBC direct channel, there’s some really disturbing images of the Doctor in what seems to be a possible Cyberman conversion growling.

The official description reads:

Next time on Doctor Who, the Cybermen return in Neil Gaiman’s Nightmare in Silver. Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but it’s now the dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess-playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon. When the Doctor, Clara, Artie and Angie arrive, the last thing they expect is the re-emergence of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes. The Cybermen are back!

This marks the second episode penned by Gaiman. The first was last years, “The Doctor’s Wife.” In speaking about doing another Doctor Who episode with Cybermen, Gaiman stated:

If you look at the 1966/67 Cybermen, people are looking out of the eyeholes and breathing through the mouth and they’re in exactly the right place on the human face to give you that uncanny valley. Previously, on the modern Cybermen, the eyes are up here, and the mouth is out there and quite small, and it’s almost like a snake face or a dog face. They didn’t read in the brain as a human being that’s somehow not; they read as like a monster, which made them something else. That was great – but we wanted to try something which went back to the 60s look. Our Cybermen are scarier than ever.
