After spending three weeks shooting inside studios, Doctor Who spoilers have been non-existent. But with filming back outside, they’re back in full flow as a new photo shows a returning character alongside The Doctor! This post contains plot spoilers, including the new companions’ name.

You wait ages for a Doctor Who spoiler, then three come along at once! Yesterday it was revealed that the Mark Gatiss-penned episode 9 would take place in a Victorian Yorkshire village, with a mysterious factory seemingly kidnapping its visitors. Actress Catrin Stewart was also on set, reprising her role as Jenny from “A Good Man Goes To War.” We now have a photo of the actress with Matt Smith as the Doctor, alongside a few more tidbits!

Ryan Farrell was on set, and snapped the image below.

He also overheard the characters discussing new companion Clara, who seems to have been kidnapped by Dame Diana Riggs’ character Mrs. Gillyflower, repeatedly referred to as “the ice lady.”

Of course, it’s strange to see Jenny back without her mistress and lover Madame Vastra. According to Ryan, the character will be back, but wasn’t present at last night’s filming. This adds fuel to rumours of a Clara/Vastra/Jenny love triangle, despite the fact that Madame Vastra actress Neve McIntosh “debunked” them (although it came with an admission that she couldn’t confirm the reports even if they were true).

Updated – A video of the shoot is now online, with Jenny clearly calling the character “Clara”.

Are you glad to see Jenny back again?
