The BBC has released a new picture showing much more of the beloved blue boy’s insides for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special.

The new Doctor Who TARDIS interior is a clear throwback to the consoles of the older series. This makes sense with the 50th Anniversary coming up. We Whovians want to reminisce. It seems like the writers are wanting some things to come full circle.

I’m not sure if I am a huge fan of the change. It looks nice, and I like the colors, but it seems less epic than the pervious consoles of the new series. I will give it a chance and maybe it will win me over next week.
