A new video by Matt Smith & Jenna-Louise Coleman introduces the next episode of Doctor Who and a spoiler-free review gives us exciting information about Clara.

As Saturday approaches the Doctor Who fans at Hypable Headquarters are getting pretty nervous, and we’re shivering with anticipation. The last episode left us wanting more and pretty disappointed, and we’re waiting for the series to get back in gear. Naturally this means that we have high hopes for the ninth episode of series seven, “Hide,” and luckily it looks like it’ll meet our high expectations!

The synopsis of the episode reads:

Clara and the Doctor arrive at Caliburn House, a haunted mansion sat alone on a desolate moor. Within its walls, a ghost hunting Professor and a gifted psychic are searching for the Witch of the Well. Her apparition appears throughout the history of the building, but is she really a ghost? And what is chasing her?

Call us masochists but we’re so excited to get scared by the monster in “Hide!” This looks like a dramatic, spooky episode filled with things that remind us of series 1’s “The Unquiet Dead” where Rose & the ninth Doctor face off a bunch of blue vapor that reanimates corpses.

Thanks to Den of Geek, who wrote a spoiler free review, we have some exciting information that this episode isn’t going to be as pointless as last week’s “Cold War.” They go on to state that Clara gets a lot more interesting in this episode, noting that we’re past introductions now and this is where things will finally start to pick up.

The mystery of who Clara is and how she’s possible gets deeper in this episode of Doctor Who, and we have to say that it’s about time! We were wondering how long the Doctor would be able to travel with Clara before things get even more interesting, and while we know her mystery won’t be fully answered in this episode it’s thrilling to find out that it’ll at least be brought up again.

Doctor Who episode 7×09 “Hide” airs this coming Saturday, April 20 at 6:15PM GST on BBC One and 8:00PM EST/PST.

What about “Hide” makes you excited? The Clara details or creepy monsters?
