Doctor Who introduces Sherlock star Rupert Graves as game hunter Riddell in a brand new clip from “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship!”

Yesterday, we met Egyptian Queen “Nefi” Nefertiti in the first clip from Chris Chibnall’s pre-historic (yet futuristic) “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.” Today, The Doctor recruits explorer and game hunter Riddell to join his exploration of a space shuttle’s mysterious cargo. Riddell is played by Ruper Graves, most notable for playing DI Greg Lestrade in Steven Moffat’s other BBC hit series Sherlock. The Doctor, Amy, Rory, Nefi and Riddell are joined by Rory’s father Brian for a rip-roaring romp.

“An unmanned spaceship hurtles towards certain destruction, unless the Doctor can save it, along with its impossible cargo… of dinosaurs! By his side are a ragtag gang of adventurers: a big game hunter, an Egyptian queen and a surprised member of the Pond family. But little does the Doctor know that there is someone else onboard who will stop at nothing to keep hold of his precious, prehistoric cargo.”

“Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” airs in the U.K. at 7:35 p.m. GMT on BBC One and 9:00 p.m. EST in the United States and Canada, on BBC America and SPACE respectively.

What do you think of the clip? Who are you most looking forward to seeing opposite Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill?
