Ahead of tomorrow’s Doctor Who broadcast, the BBC has released a third clip for “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” – and the prehistoric party has arrived…

Wednesday saw us introduced to Egyptian Queen “Nefi” Nefertiti, and yesterday we met game hunter Riddell. Now, as “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” draws ever closer, it looks like the titular creatures have arrived…

This is the first Doctor Who adventure to feature dinosaurs in nearly 40 years. Despite occasional cameos in episodes like “The Wedding of River Song,” the last time these extinct creatures shared the screen with the Doctor was in 1974 when they faced John Pertwee’s Third Doctor in “The Invasion of the Dinosaurs.”

“An unmanned spaceship hurtles towards certain destruction, unless the Doctor can save it, along with its impossible cargo… of dinosaurs! By his side are a ragtag gang of adventurers: a big game hunter, an Egyptian queen and a surprised member of the Pond family. But little does the Doctor know that there is someone else onboard who will stop at nothing to keep hold of his precious, prehistoric cargo.”

“Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” airs in the U.K. at 7:35 p.m. GMT on BBC One and 9:00 p.m. EST in the United States and Canada, on BBC America and SPACE respectively.

What do you think of the dinosaurs’ aesthetic? Could this be the best CGI we’ve seen in the show so far?
