Imagine our surprise when we went to see Divergent and saw several familiar names on the Initiates Board.

“Those names look really familiar” we said to ourselves. Our friend Nikki, who also appeared on the Initiates Board, leaned over and told us that it was no coincidence.

As we learned after seeing the film, Summit teamed up with Divergent director Neil Burger to include the names of ten people whose websites supported the book to film adaptation from early on. Our good friends Nikki, Kimmy, Paulina, Elaine, and Erin all appear on the Initiates Board.

You can see that this writer is ranked at number four during this particular scene. “Andrew” never dropped below the red line. Way above Tris. Not to brag or anything.

Fans will recall that the Initiates Board keeps track of how Dauntless hopefuls are performing. If they rank below the red line, they get cut and become faction-less.
