A new Divergent commercial debuted today and includes several great clips we haven’t seen before.

The 30-second Divergent spot released Monday includes a shot of Tris’ mother Natalie (Ashley Judd) after her daughter asks, “What am I?” Plus, we see the very tall fence surrounding Chicago, knife throwing, Jeanine (Kate Winslet) saying to someone “finish it,” and Peter (Miles Teller) asking Tris, “What’s your trick?”

This commercial feels a little less tense than others have, and we really like the fun moment with Peter. It also brings across a clear message to viewers who haven’t read the books.

With the film quickly approaching release, announcements and new promotional materials have been surfacing at a feverish pitch. This morning we shared a new clip of Tris breaking free of her simulation. Also this morning we heard from the trilogy’s author Veronica Roth who spoke highly of the book-to-film adaptation.

Last week new songs from the film’s soundtrack dropped, including M83’s “I Need You.”

Divergent opens in theaters March 21, and tickets will go on sale tomorrow, March 4. Those who buy tickets before opening day on Fandango or MovieTickets.com will be able to enter a contest in which you can win a walk-on role in the sequel Insurgent (which starts filming in a couple of months). Additionally, those who purchase tickets through the aforementioned site specifically on March 4 will receive a free download of the Divergent book.
