Several new stills from Divergent were released online today and offer new looks at many co-stars. Meanwhile, the film is heading towards an impressive opening box office.

The new Divergent photos were released on Entertainment Weekly this morning. We see virtually all of the lead characters including Tris (Shailene Woodley), Four (Theo James), Jeanine (Kate Winslet), Peter (Miles Teller), Tori (Maggie Q), Andrew Prior (Tony Goldwyn), Natalie Prior (Ashley Judd), and Christina (Zoë Kravitz).

In related news, tracking reports (conducted to learn if audiences are planning on seeing the film) indicate that Divergent is on track for a domestic opening weekend box office of $50 million. The Wrap estimates that this means the film will go on to break $100 million in the United States when all is said and done. With a $85 million production budget and another $40 million in promotional costs, this means that the film should be profitable after international box office totals are accounted for.

This signals another win for Summit and Lionsgate, who’ve had great success with other YA franchises like Twilight ($69 million opening weekend) and The Hunger Games ($152 million). Though Divergent isn’t looking like it’ll be as profitable as the other book-to-film adaptation’s first movies, the Veronica Roth-penned dystopian trilogy is off to a strong start.

Finally, Summit announced today that tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, March 4. Those who purchase advance tickets before March 21 on Fandango or MovieTickets.com will be able to enter a contest in which you can win a walk-on role in the sequel Insurgent. Additionally, those who purchase tickets through the aforementioned site specifically on March 4 will receive a free download of Divergent.

The movie opens March 21, 2014 (less than a month to go!).
