Three actors have finalized deals to star in the Divergent movie which is set to begin filming next month in Chicago.

Maggie Q will play Tori (the tattoo artist), Zoe Kravitz will play Christina (Tris’ eventual friend), and Ansel Elgort will play Caleb (Tris’ brother).

Q may be known to our readers as the star of The CW’s Nikita. Kravitz is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz who stars as Cinna in The Hunger Games. Elgort’s only other role is the upcoming film Carrie.

The only other people who have been cast so far are Shailene Woodley, who will star as the lead female, and Kate Winslet, whose role is still unknown. The film is directed by Neil Burger.

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, who broke the story.

Earlier today we pointed out a tweet from Alexander Ludwig who screen tested for a role in Divergent today. We believe it could be the role of Four. Lionsgate has been searching for an actor to take the co-starring role for months but progress has seemingly been slow.

Divergent is the first of three books in the trilogy of the same title by Veronica Roth. The second one, Insurgent, was released last year. Book three will be released this October but it does not yet have a title or cover. Lionsgate is eying the franchise as its next Twilight/The Hunger Games.
