At the start of this week, we learned which three actors would take the roles of Caleb, Tori, and Christina in the Divergent movie.

Now, series author Veronica Roth is commenting on the news.

“They are all extremely talented (not to mention spectacular matches for the characters in my head) and I’m so happy that they’re going to be a part of the Divergent movie,” she wrote on her official website.

She added, “CANNOT. WAIT.”

As we learned Monday, Maggie Q will play Tori (the tattoo artist), Zoe Kravitz will play Christina (Tris’ eventual friend), and Ansel Elgort will play Caleb (Tris’ brother). Hypable readers were largely positive about the these casting choices when the news was announced on Monday.

The Divergent movie is set to begin filming next month in Chicago, which is where Roth’s story is set in the books. Tris will be played by Shailene Woodley. An actor has not yet been named for the role of Four. Kate Winslet is also attached to the project, but her particular character has not yet been revealed.

Divergent opens in theaters March 21, 2014. With filming due to begin soon, we imagine many cast members will be announced over the coming weeks.
