As construction continues on Star Wars Land at Walt Disney’s original theme park, today Disneyland unveiled a new look at the land, giving a peek of the layout.

Disneyland announced today that new Star Wars Land artwork will be appearing on a construction wall along Big Thunder Trail toward the back of Disneyland, where the new land is being built. The aerial view depicts the 14-acre project, which is expected to feature two major attractions, including one centered on piloting the Millennium Falcon.

The river that you see running along Star Wars Land is the updated version of the Rivers of America. The river is being cut short to make room for Star Wars Land. At the top of the river you can see the Disneyland Railroad’s train tracks — this is another classic attraction that is being modified (route wise) to make room for Star Wars Land. Both the railroad and the Rivers of America are closed right now as they get prepped for a galaxy far, far away.

The new artwork with Star Wars Land’s layout can be seen below (click for a larger version):

“Nestled between towering spires of rock, this thriving port contains a seemingly familiar architecture of markets, landing zones and buildings,” Disneyland writes on the Disney Parks Blog. “Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming – like the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.”

Star Wars Land’s opening date is expected to be sometime in 2018 or 2019. By the way, Disney is officially calling this the “Star Wars-Themed Land” at the moment. It remains to be seen if this will officially be called “Star Wars Land” or not. This Disneyland fan hopes it uses “Land,” considering most other lands at Disneyland are titled “_____land.”
