The latest animated Marvel series Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to Disney XD in September!

Do you miss Groot, Gamora, Star-Lord and the rest of the gang?

Don’t worry: while we’ve still got to wait two years for the much-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Disney XD is launching an animated series based on the Marvel characters.

Despite the fact that the series is obviously Chris Pratt-less, we’re still pretty excited about it!

To gear us up for Guardians of the Galaxy‘s animated debut, Disney XD has released this awesome new poster:

TV Line has learned that Guardians of the Galaxy will officially premiere Saturday, September 27, but the first episode is debuting early, airing September 5.

Further, Disney XD is releasing a series of 10 two-minute shorts revealing the origins of each member of the unlikely team of heroes.
