Get your wallets ready, because Disney has just announced that this year’s Triple Force Friday will be bigger than ever.

Star Wars fans have come to know Force Friday as the day that Disney releases new toys in celebration of the upcoming Star Wars film. But this year, the event will be bigger than ever, so Disney is renaming it Triple Force Friday.

Why Triple Force? Because this year Disney is celebrating the highly anticipated, final installment of the Skywalker Saga, Star Wars: Episode IX, the first-ever Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian, and the new Star Wars game from EA and Respawn, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Starting at 12:01 on October 4, you can expect to find toys and amazing new merch to commemorate all three properties.

As for what we can specifically expect to find on shelves this Triple Force Friday, we don’t know yet. We know that, like every year, the items will be anything from toys to collectibles, housewares to clothing, and everything in between. Disney hasn’t yet released images of the new merch, but we can expect to get the rundown at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in April.

Juli Lennett, Vice President, Industry Advisor for The NPD Group’s U.S. toys division said that she expects Disney to dominate in best toy sales in 2019. Not only will they be launching an impressive new line of merch for the Star Wars universe, but they will also be launching toys to celebrate the release of non-Star Wars film, Frozen 2

We’re excited to see what new toys and other merchandise will heard our way this Triple Force Friday. The fun starts at 12:01 on October 4, so don’t wait to scoop up some Star Wars awesomeness of your very own.
