Coming up next, Star Wars fans can look forward to an all new animated series set to hit Disney+ in just about a month’s time.

In Star Wars: The Bad Batch, fans will follow along with an elite and experimental group of clones known collectively as the Bad Batch. The group of clones, which was first introduced via The Clone Wars, is a unique squad that varies genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army.

Each member of the Bad Batch possesses a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

The newest animated Star Wars series is (fittingly) set to debut on Tuesday, May 4 via Disney+.

To celebrate its debut, the show will kick things off with a 70-minute premiere. From there, fans can look forward to feasting their eyes on brand new episodes every Friday.

Behind the camera, Star Wars: Rebels vets Brad Rau and Carrie Beck will serve as supervising director and head writer/co-executive producer, respectively.

Executive producers on the project include Star Wars: The Clone Wars alums Dave Filoni and Athena Portillo. Meanwhile, Josh Rhimes (Star Wars Resistance) will serve as a producer on the project.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres exclusively via Disney+ on Tuesday, May 4.
