The first trailer for Marvel’s What If …? animated series is here, and it invites viewers to broaden their minds and embrace the idea of infinite possibilities.
On Thursday (July 8), Disney+ unveiled the first teaser trailer for Marvel’s What If…?.
The series, which marks Marvel Studios’ first ever animated series, reimagines famous events from the MCU films and explores what might have happened if things had gone very differently.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the trailer is all of the different rare pair ups that are teased throughout. From Tony Stark teaming up with Killmonger, to T’Challa finding an ally in Yondu Udonta, there are no shortage of unlikely duos set to take center stage as part of the all new animated series.

Behind the scenes, Emmy winner Bryan Andrews serves as director on the series, while Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia scribe, AC Bradley serves as head writer.
Marvel’s What If…? animated series debuts exclusively via Disney+ on Wednesday, August 11.
