Secret Invasion, the next Marvel series coming down the pipeline at Disney+, has found its star in Kingsley Ben-Adir.

According to Deadline, actor Kingsley Ben-Adir has officlaly joined the cast of Secret Invasion at Disney+.

The forthcoming Marvel series finds Avengers alum, Samuel L. Jackson, and Captain Marvel vet Ben Mendelsohn back in action as Nick Fury and Talos, respectively.

Marvel fans will likely recall that the S.H.I.E.L.D. head and the Skrull first met in Captain Marvel.

The Disney+ Secret Invasion series is based on the Marvel comic book series storyline of the same name. It chronicled the slow earth invasion of the Skrulls— an alien race known for their shapeshifting abilities. The comics also found the Skrulls positing as Avengers, which makes the source material ripe for crossovers between characters we haven’t seen share screen time yet.

As is customary, both Disney and Marvel are keeping details surrounding who Kingsley Ben-Adir will play in Secret Invasion close to the chest. That being said, a source close to the project says that the One Night in Miami star will be taking on the role of the main villain in the forthcoming series.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Secret Invasion debut via Disney+.
