Cannes Film Festival attendees will be among the first to see Pixar’s animated feature Inside Out. A new clip has also been released from the movie.

In a press statement, Disney revealed their plans to debut Inside Out at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Director Pete Docter, Co-director Ronnie Del Carmen and Producer Jonas Rivera will be present at the World Premiere in Cannes, along with members of the all-star voice cast. The Cannes Film Festival takes place from May 13 to May 24, 2015.

Docter says of the decision, “We are overjoyed at being included in this year’s official selection at Cannes. With Inside Out, we spent years imagining – and then building – never-before-seen settings and characters within the mind. It was an incredible, fun and exciting challenge and now we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Inside Out takes place inside the head of the young girl Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), and we see her primary emotions try to guide her in the right direction after a few of them accidentally lead her thoughts astray. The voice cast includes Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, Bill Hader as Fear and Lewis Black as Anger.

The full synopsis for the movie reads:

“Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy, whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear heads up safety, Anger ensures all is fair and Disgust prevents Riley from getting poisoned — both physically and socially. Sadness isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

“When Riley’s family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind—taking some of her core memories with them—Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places—Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions—in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.”

Poor Sadness! No wonder she’s so, well, sad.

‘Inside Out’ opens in theaters on June 19, 2015.
