Miguel discovers the gorgeous Land of the Dead in the new trailer for Pixar’s Coco, the studio’s next animated movie.

We’re always pumped for a new Pixar Original, and their latest looks particularly special. Focused on family and the magic of music, Coco will — at worst — be a visual delight.

Today’s new trailer reminds us of Coco’s plot: Miguel accidentally enters of Land of the Dead and tries to find his grandfather. In this preview we learn that he’s racing against the clock. As always, Disney and Pixar’s sense of humor is scattered throughout the trailer. Watch below:

Pixar also released a new poster, which you can check out below. Coco hits theaters on November 22 and is directed by Toy Story 3 helmer Lee Unkrich. A new Frozen short film called “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” will run in front of Coco — the songs sound great!

Synopsis:

When aspiring musician Miguel (voice of Anthony Gonzalez) ends up in the Land of the Dead in Disney•Pixar’s “Coco,” his family takes him to the Department of Family Reunions where a busy clerk (voice of Gabriel Iglesias) informs him that he’s cursed. To return to the Land of the Living, Miguel will need a magical marigold petal and the blessing of a family member—but, according to the clerk, the family member can include any condition she likes—even forbidding music forever.
